Beverley 10K Race and 2K Funrun
Beverley 10k 2008 - Sun 9th May 2010 - Sponsored by Garness Jones Chartered Surveyors
The race starts outside the spectacular
twin-towered Beverley Minster, regarded as
among the finest Gothic churches of Cathedral size in Europe.
It then passes through the
medieval North Bar and across the glorious
green-belt on the edge of town, known as Beverley Westwood, towards the village of Walkington.
Runners then return to Beverley’s cobbled Market
Place and the impressive finish through the town’s market square and pedestrianised shopping zone.
The Club organises two well established and very popular road races, the Beverley & Walkington10K's, both races incorporate a Fun Run.
Due to the Increased popularity of these races, safety and support concerns have regrettably forced the decision to impose limits for both events. There will be no entries on the day for either the 10ks or Fun Runs, and entry closed when limits are reached.
Remember the new mail charges for weight/
size - particularly if enclosing multiple entries.
